We are a Medical Tourism and Travel agency registered with the Promed council of Costa Rica The standards and practices governing board within the country and the main arbiter of disputes and malpractice complaints. They require us to be trained and to use only Internationally accredited institutions. We undertake to provide quality affordable medical and Dental procedures . Here is how it works we will take information from you regarding the procedures desired and we will then give several basic quotations. If the quotations meet your needs the next step is to introduce you to the doctors who will be performing the procedure and YOU make your decision after interviews resume reviews, and one on one consultations. All doctors are English speaking. We will then discuss budgets regarding accommodations (Read More about Recovery and Travel options) and travel within the country once again providing options for you to consider. It is at this point also we will determine needs for in home nursing and aftercare. The Hospitals and Clinics we work with provide complimentary transportation to and from all appointments and all our accommodations are within a short distance to all facilities. Whatever you need our experienced staff will find it and provide for you. To clarify, Health Check Costa Rica:
- Establishes a relationship with patient
- Is not making medical decisions
- Is not engaging in the practice of medicine
- Arranges for medical and travel-related services
- Arranges other destination services, including travel, upon request
- Clearly defines services being provided, both medical and non-medical
- Provides information submitted by the provider as to licensing, education, affiliations and experience.
- May have a relationship with hospitals, physicians, dentists and other providers
To protect the privacy of the patient, these functions are performed only by the provider chosen by the patient:
- Arranges for transmittal of relevant medical information
- Arranges for/facilitates payment of destination provider fees
