Costa Rica Medical Travel Summit 2012 Shaping Up for Record Attendance

Costa Rica is considered as the most attractive global destination for medical tourism. PROMED and Costa Rica are proud to host the third Medical Travel Summit to be held April 23 to 25, 2012 in the capital city of Costa Rica. The third summit will be held at the Real Intercontinental Hotel in Escazu, Costa Rica, close to the excellent nightlife, shopping, and a variety of international and local dining options.

 

PROMED and the Costa Rica Tourism Board are excited and happy to host the annual medical travel summit this year. The second Medical Travel Summit was attended by more than 500 people that represented 15 nations from North and Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Caribbean. Now, the 2012 Medical Travel Summit is expected to break the previous attendance records and promises to be one of the most valuable events in the medical tourism calendar of 2012.

The Council for the International Promotion of Costa Rica Medicine or commonly known as PROMED is a private non-profit organization that coordinates the efforts carried out in order to ensure the quality of services provided by the private health industry in the country. With their international promotion, their intention is to make the country as a center for global medicine and a major destination for Medical Tourism in Costa Rica. Moreover, the mission of PROMED is to provide dedicated and warm personal attention not only to your medical needs but to every aspect of your experience in the country.

PROMED has become one of the major players in bringing the country to the forefront of medical tourism. Their objective is to promote and offer quality assurance of the Costa Rica healthcare industry.

The summit will boast a varied palette of guests from various Medical Travel Organizations. There will be prominent speakers at the event, both local and international. They will be giving workshops and seminars on the various aspects of medical tourism with the purpose of providing the listeners with a deeper understanding of the medical travel industry.
